We wish to inform you that, effective April 1, 2025, the fee for the Engaged Encounter Retreat will be adjusted to $395 per couple. The adjusted rate will apply to all applications received after April 1st. Our last price increase occurred in 2012. This decision comes after careful consideration of the rising expenses involved in providing a meaningful retreat experience.

We remain committed to making quality marriage preparation accessible to all couples, therefore scholarships are available for those experiencing financial hardship. For more information on scholarship applications, please contact our registration team at scheduling@ceefresno.org


  




Catholic Engaged Encounter is a ministry dedicated to helping build stronger marriages. It is composed of married couples and priests, who value the Sacrament of Marriage.

The Catholic Engaged Encounter weekend retreat offers engaged couples a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the fullness of their relationship and God's call to unite them in marriage.

It provides couples an opportunity to examine and deepen their commitment to one another and gives them a realistic and up close view of marriage.

The Weekend takes the couples on a personal journey with each other into the Sacrament of Marriage and the impact their marriage will have on their friends, family, and world around them.

The weekend is open to all couples regardless of their faith background.
